| Here are the two spools & cast cap
assemblies. The Chronarch 50MG parts are on the left and the
stock Curado 100B parts are on the right. You can see the difference in the size of the spool arbors.
Obviously, the CH-50MG wiffle spool will holds less line and therefore
have less mass.

Notice how much less mass there is to brake holder the
wiffle spool.

200.
Here's a picture looking straight down on the
top of the modified CU-100B with the cast cap removed.
Notice that the spool shaft protrudes out of the threaded
area. The same is true with the stock CU-100 spool.

Notice that the spool shaft does NOT protrude out of the threaded
area. Therefore, the metal cap can't place any tension
on the spool.
